Branching scripts on phone campaigns
Movement allows you to create logic-based interactive scripts that head down multiple branches. By using branching scripts you can create different journeys for people based on the answers they give.
It is possible to use branching scripts on phone and SMS/WhatsApp survey campaigns and the set up is identical for each type of campaign.
Setting up a branching script
Step 1: Create the questions for your script, including questions for each branch

Step 2: Apply the logic
For each multiple choice answer you can set which question or instruction follows a specific answer.
For each branch of the script set the follow up question or instruction until each branch of the script is concluded with "end the questions"



For instructions, text questions, and SMS messages the follow up is the same for everyone but is selected in the same way.

Step 3: Run test phone calls to check and test your branching script
Once you have set the logic for all your questions and branches, launch the campaign. You can then make test phone calls to be sure each branch of the script is set up correctly.
To make a test call go to the live campaign and click the start calling button in the top right. On the next page click the practice calling button.
