Goals (optional): Goals allow you to group multiple campaigns with a shared goal together and efficiently group everyone who meets the goal to make managing audiences and tracking results easier. For example, when running a get out the vote operation for a ballot, you can set up a goal for the ballot of people voting, which you can apply across multiple campaigns. If you would like to apply a goal to your WhatsApp blast, select it from the drop down menu, otherwise, disregard this section:

-
To: Select the audience you wish to send your blast to from the drop down or select Create new if you would like to create a new audience for this campaign - you'll be taken to an audience build page. If you would like to send to a particular number of randomly chosen audience members, check the box and enter the number you would like, up to the size of your audience. You also have the option to send to everyone in the audience even if they're unsubscribed, in case you need to contact all your members.

-
From: Set which name and email address the email will come from along with the reply to address:

Note: You can change the name per campaign, so one email address can be used with multiple names, for example a particular staff member or team. If you want to add a different email address to send from, this will need to be added by an admin and verified in Settings > Email senders.
-
Subject: Enter your subject line and preview text - you can add multiple variables to test which performs best. The results of any variable testing will be available on your campaign overview page once the campaign has been sent.
Tip: Make use of emojis and merge tags to personalise!

-
Content: Select Launch email designer to start creating your email. Once the designer has been launched, you'll be prompted to select a template - you can select one of the available templates or create from scratch

Once you've selected a template, you'll be able to build your email by using editable content blocks, including: image, heading, paragraph, button, list, spacer, and divider. You'll initially be presented with all these options, then to add a new element, select the plus button above or below and pick one of the options again. You can reorder blocks using the up and down arrows.
Once you’ve selected the element you want, a side-bar will appear to help you edit it. For example, this is what it looks like when you select image:

There are lots of settings and flexibility when building features. For images, you can hyperlink them to a website, phone number, email or file; change the sizing mode; or change the alignment:

Once you have included all your content and are happy with the email, you can preview the email to see how it will exactly look on desktop or mobile. If no changes need to made after the preview, you can click continue and you will return to the campaign builder screen.
Settings: Send all emails at once or customise to drip send a number of messages out per hour, between specific times.
Preview: Double check your personalisation by selecting any contact to show an accurate preview of the email they'll receive. You can also check your message end to end by sending yourself or a colleague a sample of your email. Then, send your campaign immediately or schedule for a particular date and time.
Once your campaign is sent, navigate to the campaign overview page to view results, including for any variable testing.
