How to take part in text and WhatsApp conversation campaigns
If you're helping out with a text or WhatsApp conversation campaign, you'll have everything you need within Movement to have those important conversations with supporters and members. Follow our step by step guide below - there's also a video guide to support:
Step 1: Find the campaign you'd like to take part in
When you login, you'll have an overview of the campaigns you're helping out on. To start messaging, find the text conversation campaign you'd like to take part in and select Go:

Step 2: Start messaging
When you click through, you'll see how many people are waiting for replies, then you simply have to select start messaging
Step 3: Messaging
You'll see one conversation at a time - you'll be able to see the person's name and their messages. Write your response in the messaging box, where it reads 'Type a response' and when you're ready, select send to send your message. There are a few other things you can do:
Canned responses
The campaign may have canned responses available for you to use - to use one of these, select Choose a response > select your response > you'll be able to edit and add to the message before sending.
Goals
If the campaign is working towards a particular goal, there'll be an option for you to check that the people you're messaging has completed the goal, for example, voted in a ballot.
Snooze
If someone has asked a question that you're not able to respond to at the moment or if you want to skip a conversation for any reason, just select the Snooze button and you'll move to the next person - the conversation will remain live for you to come back to.
When you're ready to move on, select done and you'll continue to the next conversation. Any snoozed conversations will reappear after ten minutes - you can always snooze again if you need to.
