How to allow users in other organisations to view or volunteer for campaigns
Each campaign is tied to the organisation of the user that created it. So, if a national user creates a campaign, it will be possible for other national admin users to view and manage the campaign, and national volunteer users to take part.
You can use the share functionality to allow users in any of the organisations below to view or volunteer on live phone or conversation campaigns. Follow the steps below to allow users in other organisations to view or volunteer for campaigns:
Step 1: Select Change access
Select Change access in the Users section when you are building a campaign

Note: This can be edited for live campaigns by selecting the Share button on the top right of the campaign overview page.
Step 2: Select the share option you would like
A pop-up box will appear with three share options:
-
With people within my organisation National
Only allow users within your organisation to manage and take part in this campaign - this is the default. Check the box if you would like this option:

-
With people in my organisation National, and organisations beneath
Select organisation levels beneath yours which can manage and take part in this campaign. Check the box to share will all or check the box against specific organisations:

-
With people in my organisation National, and specific organisations beneath
Select specific organisations beneath yours which can manage and take part in this campaign. Check the box and select the Add organisation button:

Select the organisations from the drop down:

Select if you would like people to be able to view or volunteer from the drop down - the table below explains more about what it means to view or volunteer:
View
Users with necessary permissions can:
- View and export performance stats and campaign data for the people in their organisation that are in the campaign.
- Clone the campaign and make a duplicate campaign tied to their organisation that they have full management of.
- Volunteer in the campaign.
Users are only able to view the campaign stats and data for their organisation and will not have access to any of the other campaign data. For example a regional user will only be able to view and export the stats and data for people in their region that are in the campaign that has been shared.
Only users with the view create and launch campaigns permission will be able to view the campaign if this sharing option is enabled for their organisation type. All users without this permission will be able to volunteer only.
Volunteer
Users can volunteer in the campaign to make calls or reply to peer to peer messages if this sharing option is enabled for their organisation type.
Tip: User groups allow you to give volunteer access to any group of users. If you want to grant some users access to volunteer in a campaign but do not want to grant access to everyone in that organisation type, you can use user groups in addition or instead of the share to allow them to take part in the campaign.
