How to create a donation page
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to create a donations page:
Step 1: Navigate to Pages and create a new Page
Navigate to the Pages homepage and select Create New Page in the top right:

Step 2: Choose your donation template
Select your organisation’s donation templates to start creating a new donations page:

Step 3: Enter page details
Enter mandatory details including name, 'Why is this important' text and your main image:
Note: You can always edit these details at a later stage

Step 4: Setup, Build and Preview your page
Once you’ve added page details and created your page, you’ll be redirected to a preview of your page - from here, you can seamlessly navigate between the Setup, Build and Preview tabs at the top to perfect your page
In Setup, you can adjust details including page URL and share information as well as access advanced settings to edit code:

In Build, you navigate the left side menu to:
1. Make edits and additions to your page, including setting and adjusting donation prompts and form display as well as setting up and creating a thank you message:
Note: You can include liquid code in your thank you email for conditional logic based personalisation


2. Edit or remove the share step:
Note: The order of the sharing platforms is the order they’ll appear on the page - the first one will be highlighted to give it a visual hierarchy which should increase clicks and conversions!

3. Edit or remove any redirect:

4. Add any additional steps to the journey:


Step 5: Preview your page for desktop and mobile until you’re happy with the result!
Use the preview tab to view how your page will appear on desktop and mobile - when you’re happy with the result, select save in the top right!
Tip: Easily edit the text in situ on the preview using the pencil icon!
Step 6: Access your page
Access the URL of your page and view analytics by navigating to the Pages homepage and selecting your page from the ‘Your pages’ table:


Step 7: Edit your Page
Go back and make edits to your page by selecting 'Edit' from the 'Manage' drop down menu:
